Transportation Cards
To use public transportation in Korea, you are required to purchase a transportation card, such as the T-money card. This is a rechargeable prepaid card that does not require a bank account. Please note that the card can only be recharged with cash.
Reception on March 2
We will have a Reception on the evening of March 2 (Monday), the 135 KITCHEN&BAR restaurant (https://koreanahotel.com/en/dinning/135Kitchen.htm) in Hotel Koreana. The restaurant is located on the 1st floor.

Directions from KIAS to Hotel Koreana via public transport :
There are two way to arrive the restaurant.
Option 1 - Take bus #273 in front of the main gate of KIAS, and get off at "Gwangwhamun Subway Station" bus stop (20 stops, about 40 minutes). The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Option2 - Take Seoul Subway Line 1 (Dark Blue Line) from Hoegi Station → City Hall Station (9 stops, about 20 minutes). Exit via exit no. 3. The hotel is straight ahead (~5 min walk).

Banquet on March 4
The Workshop Banquet will take place on the evening of March 4 (Wednesday), at the Hanilkwan restaurant in Gwanghwamun (https://hanilkwan.co.kr/shopinfo/locations4.html).

Directions from KIAS to Hanilkwan restaurant in Gwanghwamun via public transport :
Take Seoul Subway Line 1 (Dark Blue Line) from Hoegi Station → Jongno 3-ga Station (7 stops, about 15 minutes). Transfer to Line 5 (Purple Line), travel towards Bangwha, exit at Gwanghwamun Station (1 stop) using exit no. 2. Walk straight ahead, take the second right.
