Accomodation
1. We reserved 50 rooms in Seogwipo KAL Hotel (http://www.kalhotel.co.kr/en/seogwipo/) for ISMD2016 from August 28 (check in) to September 3 (check out). The group rates are following (U$ 1 = KRW 1,200):
- Standard room (one double bed and one twin bed) including breakfast for one person: KRW 118,000/night for weekdays (August 28 – September 1), KRW 158,000/night for weekend (September 2)
- Standard room (one double bed and one twin bed) including breakfast for two persons: KRW 130,000/night for weekdays (August 28 – September 1), KRW 170,000/night for weekend (September 2)
- If you want for us to reserve the room for you at the above rate, please mark so in the registration form. We strongly encourage all participants stay in Seogwipo KAL Hotel.
2. One can always reserve the room(s) in other hotels nearby the Symposium venue using commercial reservation sites, such as “Expedia.com”, “Hotels.com”, “Booking.com”, etc. Please use “Seogwipo City” instead of “Seogwipo” because “Seogwipo” is the name of a large prefecture in Jeju Island.
Address of Seogwipo KAL Hotel: “242 Chilsipri-ro, Seogwipo City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Korea” or, equivalently, “486-3, Topyeong-dong, Seogwipo City, Jeju-do, Korea”
Caution: There are two KAL hotels in Jeju Island, one is in Jeju City, and another one is in Seogwipo City.
3. We find several decent economic hotels in Seogwipo City, but are not usually listed in commercial websites. The list is given below, and please mark in the registration form if you want for us to reserve the room for you in those hotels. The room rates usually do not include breakfast, and may be changed without an advanced notice.

4. We reserved several rooms at the Training Center (Unipark) of Jeju National University. The distance between Unipark and Seogwipo KAL Hotel is about 2 km. They are connected by beautiful trail, called Jeju Olle. These rooms are mostly for students as group (3-5) of people can stay in the same Korean style Ondol room. If you want for us to reserve the room for you at Unipark, please mark so in the registration form.
